Affiliate program software, compared

The tools SaaS companies and online stores use to run their affiliate program: tracking, commissions and payouts. Every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page.

In short

For a SaaS company starting out, Rewardful and FirstPromoter start at $49/month with Stripe and Paddle support; Tolt adds automated payouts from $99/month. Online stores can start free with UpPromote or GoAffPro. Larger partner programs look at PartnerStack or Impact.com.

How to choose

Start from your billing. If you bill through Stripe or Paddle, pick a tool that syncs with it natively: commissions then follow upgrades, refunds and cancellations on their own.

Count the full cost. Add the fee on sales or payouts to the monthly price. A cheap plan with a percentage of every affiliate sale can cost more than a flat plan once your program grows.

Plan how you will find affiliates. The software runs the program, it does not fill it. Marketplaces help, and so does listing your program where affiliates compare offers. See where to list your SaaS affiliate program.

FAQ

What is the best affiliate software for SaaS?

For most early SaaS companies, Rewardful and FirstPromoter are the usual shortlist: both start at $49/month and connect to Stripe and Paddle. Tolt adds automated payouts from its first plan at $99/month. Funded B2B companies with a partner team often look at PartnerStack or Reditus for their affiliate networks.

Is there free affiliate software?

Yes, for online stores: UpPromote and GoAffPro have free plans, and Refersion lists brands on its marketplace for free. The SaaS-focused tools in this list rely on free trials instead, usually 14 days (30 days for Partnero).

Which affiliate software includes a marketplace of affiliates?

PartnerStack, Reditus, Affonso, Trackdesk, Refersion, UpPromote, Impact.com and Dub (on its Enterprise plan) advertise a marketplace or network. A marketplace only lists programs that run on that tool, so many companies also list their program on independent directories such as AffiDex, which work with any tool.

Do affiliate software tools take a cut of sales?

Some do. Refersion and UpPromote charge a percentage of affiliate-driven sales on paid plans, Impact.com Starter charges 2.5% of revenue, and Reditus, Partnero and Dub charge a fee on managed payouts. Rewardful, FirstPromoter and Tolt do not list a fee on sales.

Software runs your program. Affiliates make it grow.
